The CCC Online Education Initiative (OEI) is working to expand and improve online education. One goal of the project is to enable students to take online courses from any of the colleges in our consortium and eventually, our system. OEI is working with two vendors, N2N Services and Quottly.com, to create a seamless cross-enrollment experience for students. All schools can search for classes that meet IGETC or CSU Breadth requirements with consortium membership and course/institutional badges playing a key role. Our pilot, with 3 districts and 7 colleges, allows for those students to cross-enroll despite different Student Information Systems. For our pilot, we have one district each using Peoplesoft, Ellucian Banner, and Colleague (also by Ellucian).
